> who we are Nate Murphy, President
Nate Murphy, as President and CEO, brings over fourty years of innovative information technology experience. He has an extensive background in mainframe and mission-critical data management and is also one of those rare ‘fifth level’ programmers.


Prior to establishing Nate Murphy & Associates, NMI’s predecessor, he served as a Senior Systems Engineer for IBM. A twenty-five year IBM employee Nate specialized in mainframe database and application development. Other accomplishments included successful assignments with the Los Angles Air Traffic Control System, the National Competitive Marketing Program Group and several regional specialist rotations. Nate holds a B.S. degree from Wichita State University.



Ralph B. Cox, Principal
Ralph Cox brings the experience of successfully managing complex one of a kind projects to his role at NMI. Ralph is an expert software troubleshooter with over forty-five years of experience working on extremely performance sensitive systems. He has a proven track record in the development, testing, and maintenance of large real-time continuous operational systems such as the Space Shuttle and FAA Enroute Air Traffic Control System.


Ralph is a twenty-six year IBM veteran who served as a Lead Architect and Programmer. Prior to joining NMA he worked in system maintenance for Diversified International Sciences. Ralph holds a B.S. in Physics from the University of Texas.



Donald McMichael, Consulting Advisor

Donald McMichael is a finance and strategy professional with over fifteen years of experience. He has a proven track record of leveraging his technical and business acumen to not only extend existing businesses but also create effective businesses that serve previously neglected niche markets. He is assisting Nate Murphy International with its business development and back-office infrastructure functions.


Donald is the founder of the McMichael Group, LLC a consultancy that specialized in helping businesses develop and translate strategic visions and plans into solid business initiatives that improve bottom-line earnings. Before that he was a strategy and development executive for Showtime Networks where he held the title of Vice President. Don holds a M.B.A. from Duke University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia.
